We often are asked about the size of Altamont and what is like. In answer to that question, we thought it would be fun to SHOW you.

Are you ready for the GRAND TOUR?

Just before entering Altamont on the east side of town, you pass by the home of an Altamont Business man and his construction office.

Right as you pass into the city limits, look to your right and you will see the Country Flair and Stevenson's Convenience Store.

On your left you will find the Post Office!

Continuing ... on your left is the business district of Altamont: Little Bit of Country Cafe, Altamont Motel, Scissor Happy and Swasey's FoodTown Grocery Store.

Back to your right again, you have passed the Altamont Medical Clinic and Moon Lake Electric Building.

Right in the heart of downtown Altamont is our local grocery store, Swaseys Food Town, owned and operated by Doug and Sandra Swasey. First Security Bank facilities are located inside.

Going on down the street we see the only church in town, which is directly across the street from Altamont Elementary.

Leaving town, traveling west towards Duchesne, we pass by Altamont High School on the right!
